A recipe for industrious little mouselings to make.
What goes in this:
Self raising flour, 2 cups
Grated cheddar cheese, 2 cups
Milk, 1 cup
Finely chopped fresh chives (or dried chives, 1tablespoon)
Pepper 1/2teaspoon
Now do this:
- Sift flour and stir in chives and pepper.
- Add cheese & mix well
- Make a hole right in the middle of the mixture in the bowl & pour in the milk.
- When you have a nice dough, roll it (or knead it out on a floured surface).
- Cut the dough into scone sized pieces & put them on a greased baking tray.
Bake in hot oven for approx 10 minutes (we used 150 degrees C. in a fan forced oven)
